AIR BAG light came on

Unhappy AIR BAG light came on

so i was racing a bmw last night and my airbag light is now on, any ideas of why? and should i reset my computer? or any ideas whats going on

That also doubles as the street racing is bad light.

But you might first try disconnecting the plugs under the seats and firmly plugging them back in.

under each seat are electrical connectors for the air bags in the seats. unplug / plug them back in. My air bag light comes on all the time because I remove my seats for tack events. Whenever that happens I just re-seat the connectors and the light goes out.

Which part were you having trouble with?

First part:
Let me translate for you.
"Street racing is stupid"
"Posting about it is even more stupid"


Second part:
In terms of Airbags..................do as Expo1 suggested, a plug probably came loose somewhere.

I can confirm that the connectors under the seat can trigger the warning light. Re-seating these connectors worked for me and for Agent008.

Let's see: Steering, air bags, headlight levelling. What's next?

Never mind, it's the rear O2 sensor and the coils.
