ABS and TCS Light
This morning when I started my car the ABS and TCS light came on after a few seconds and stayed on (1st time this has happened). After my car warmed up, I shut it off and restarted with my foot on the brake. Upon the restart the light cleared although after about 3 seconds I felt the ABS in the brake pedal pulsate and heard an electronic noise, then the ABS and TCS light came on. I shut the car off and restarted again, this time without my foot on the brake. The ABS And TCS light stayed off until I pressed the brake, no pulsation this time.
I wanted to check my fuses and the ABS sensor. Which fuses may cause this (I searched and found the STOP fuse), any others?
Where is the ABS sensor located? Pictures would be nice.
What else do I need to check? Anyone else with this experience?
Thanks.

Hi!
I have the exat same problem. The Bosch diagnostic gives errorcode C1290 _faulty brake pressure sensor_ or something like that.
I tested the sensor with electric meter but it has no shorting or other problem. The problem is in some abs-sensor in one of the wheel hubs. I noticet that the is some short-circuit because it also burns the brake light fuse.
Sorry for my bad english...

If you get a power loss like a battery disconnect these lights will come on.
For the fun of it... turn the wheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right when the car is idling.
They may go off.

did you manage to fix this problem?
I have the same problem and the tech pulled out code C1290 : Pressure Transducer Circuit.
I was exepecting some ABS Sensor to be either dirty or damaged.

Had a similar problem, tested out my left wheel hub and it had no v/signal going to it. Bought a new one, when replacing I noticed some ABS sensor wires were cut, probably due to some road debris. Soldered the wires and everything looks good.
First off check if there is no visible damage on both front wheels. Then check the signal at each wheel hub and the wire connectors that lead to the sensors. If your left one does not work remember I have a spare one and will sell it you cheap

It's probably the right front wheel.
So you bought a sensor but you ended up soldering the wire without installing the new sensor?
I'm wondering if I need a new sensor or if I can solder mine...
Thanks for the info!
