6th gear pops out
so i did my clutch replacement before i went to OCS, some time at the end of may. it seemed to run just fine for the next few days. when i came back from OCS i swear something was just off.. anyway, its been running fine now for almost 3 weeks. besides the EXCESSIVE noise from the throwout bearing. you know the video of the crazy racing m3 with a dogteeth tranny that is passing everyone? right. something similar. but i was like, hey, it seems to be working. so i just drove it.
well today im pick up my friend and head to class... and... 6th gear pops out on the highway. im like wtf? and put it back in gear. 20 seconds later. it pops out again.
so.. blown tranny? didnt torque something down right with the clutch? can the throwout bearing influence this?
help please.
if its blown, i have a spare tranny that needs a 2nd gear rebuild. but i can keep driving this tranny in 5th gear (it holds just fine) until that one is repaired. then swap them.

Either something is not aligned right or your fluid is low and the syncros are worn to the point you will have to replace them. My old neon did that, found out that the seals were leaking and the first gear to show problems is usually the tallest. In my case it was 5th. After the damage is done, it is just a matter of time.
