Hi,

I have a question with regards to the entire headlight assembly. I have to replace mine on the passenger side and these are HIDs. The lights in general are working fine but the exterior glass enclosure is cracked. I was told by the dealer to replace the entire assembly and not just the enclosure? Where can I find the pricing on the entire assembly? The dealer quoted me about $975....

Any suggestions or opinions are deeply appreciated...Thank you!

You can usually find them on eBay quite a bit cheaper than the dealer. FYI if you don't mind "baking" your HID housings to get the cover off, you could replace the broken part with a cheaper Halogen housing. The housings are identical.

I ordered the wrong one since I have just the regular halogen lights so I have a passenger one thats hid for a good price if you are still interested...

Hey all,

Just to update everyone on the status of my car. The headlight assembly still needs to be fixed. I just haven't bothered too much about it for now especially if I need to change the entire assembly and shell out a grand. I'll do it at some point eventually.

In the meanwhile, I was away for a while and a few weeks later my car didn't start. Thankfully my car is still under warranty and I got it towed (flat-bed) to the dealer to fix the problem. They changed the spark plugs/ignition coils under warranty and the battery was prorated. Its fine for now.

Well ar328, just to let you know I have a HID headlight assembly sitting in my closet... used so there are minor scratches (and I mean minor) and I got it for the price of a used halogen headlight assembly so I don't have much use for it as my car requires a halogen assembly... Thought I would pass on the deal and sell it to someone on this site for $300. If you are interested just pm me.
