Got the 2005 key from Rosenthal, got it cut at Ace Hardware (the guy got a little paranoid about cutting it, but did a fine job), programmed the key per instructions in service manual (also other threads here), and it works fine and is way cool! Do not be afraid to get the key and program it yourself, it takes about 5 minutes, and is very easy!

 

It's great! Makes the car go faster too! I love mine! :D

Rosenthal Mazda. They're a dealer in VA that advertises a lot on this site.

 

Its not theprogramming part Im that afraid of -- its the 200 bucks I blow on something I wont even acknowledge after a fewmonths of owning it.

 

yah its expensive, but i still like the key:-) If ya got the money i say go for it. I probably should not have purchased it but oh well, i guess that means I cant get the turbo no:D

I got the key because my remote fob keeps hitting my knees, and my rotory key change knocks against it too. And they fly all over the place on hard corners.
