I bought a mazda rx8 2003 189 bhp,it drove very smoothly but then i did a normal u-turn and when i acceralted on the straight it felt like the tire was flat,i stop straight away and checked but hey were fine,just wondering what this could be??

Were you accelerating hard and still finishing up the u-turn when you got that flat tire feeling? If so, it could have been the traction control. That's kind of rough when it kicks in.
