Howdy!
I have had my 8 for around a month now and I have,developed a love/hate relationship with it
I love it for the looks,power and a bunch of little features that make it a truly great car!
Yet, it has a rather troubled past as a track car. It shows everywhere, its an 04 with only 69000 miles and its on its 3rd engine... Also the clutch is pretty well gone, and I found that out while replacing the starter.
In addition to that the tranny and brake pads need to be replaced....
But at the same time I dont blame the car at all, it actually looks really good considering.
So if you made it this far I want to replace the clutch and transmission at the same time but I can only afford 300 dollars on a clutch, so what do you recommend for that much?

 

How can you afford a Tranny if you can only afford 300 for clutch?

Can't blame a car for needing brakes .. its a wear item

I bought an ACT clutch, overkill yes but there you go

 

The stock clutch has always worked fine for me. Edit: OOPS.

 

i think he bought the car used and the previous owner heavily tracked it and ruined the clutch and trans
