'04 egr small leak

'04 egr small leak
'04 RX8 w/ 4 speed auto, no turbo. Smog guy tells me code indicates a small leak in the EGR. He says valve replacement requires removal of intake manifold but I can not find corroboration of this nor diagrams illustrating the steps.

Any body have input?

The RX8 doesn't have an EGR valve
