[RIP] Clutch/Pressure plate

Well, heres the diag. of whats going on... my 2004 RX-8, 12500 miles, doesn't want to drive much < haha

Have to get it to about 7000 rpms to get it to move.. any gear. My best guess is that it's more of the pressure plate than it is the clutch, it smells like it - and sure as hell feels like it.

Any advice on a GOOD clutch that has a similar feeling to the oem clutch? I was thinking of buying the Exedy clutch/pressure plate set for about $380 - and having AAMCO install it for me.

Btw, the ACT clutch is the same price - which do I go for?

I want it to feel smooth, not really much of a power shifter....

Unorthadox Racing offers a range of different clutch packages depending on what kind of style you want.

Those are out of my budget. By the way, I can go my put car into gear (without any throttle) and let go of the clutch without the car stalling out, making it impossible to stall.
