*shurgs* Another new engine coming soon ?

Grrrr, I didnt drive my car yesterday.

Today, fired her up, hmm idle seems kinda funky, during the 2 minute warm up time, the idle was jumping from 1500 ~ 1300 all around every 2 seconds ... ok I wait till it's going around 1000. then I start driving ....

and at the first stop sign - brake - slow down - clutch in - engine died ...

then it repeated itself for at least 20 times within the 5 miles that I had travel.

Grr .... tell me this is not true !

Consider the amount of maintenance work I did to my car ... this is really disappointed

Last week I should have told Wayne Mazda that my car has been stalling for quite a while, not every stop sign or 2 lights like today. but it did happen. *shurgs*

need to go back ...

My car did something similar a few days ago... ended up being a loose battery connection... might want to check that.

blah.

I feel like I did all these maintenance for nothing ... Mazda screwed me up with just a messed up flash ...

Now I wonder, if a crazy *** like me who change his oil every 1.5K-3K miles "might" get a bad motor. how many people out there actually runnin' a bad motor now without knowing it

You probably treat it too well - these motors like to be ridden hard - have you done that ?

Will that clean out the kind of carbon deposits you get from running synthetic oil?

more like my motor is too clean, so clean + low OMP rate thx to Mazda's flash = it actually rub against each other (seals and rotor housing) and at the end, no good.

ny: don't beat yourself up over this, you might have just gotten a bad engine to begin with and ALL THIS maintenance you put in, just helped to prolong the inevitable. Had you not maintained it, you might have had the engine go BOOM a long time ago.

let us know what the stealership says tomorrow.

back,

all plugs were foul, so they did a decarb + replaced all 4 plugs + all 4 new coils again.

They just replaced my coils + plugs + decarb like 3-5 months ago. They were surprised that all plugs were foul + bad coils again in such little time.

Engine is stronger than it looks, even higher compression than last time, so I guess its ok. Idle and stuff all back to normal. no new engine needed (YaY)

but they did recommend me to rev my car a bit before shutting it down. will do that from now on.

did you just have it at the stealership? My car for whatever reason refuses to idle for the first 3 or so trips after a reflash or the fuel trims are reset...
