You kno when you switch gears with a Turbo RX-8 it makes that air sound from the blow off valve. Well would it make that sound with a Auto RX-8?

yes, when you step off the gas, and the throttle plate closes, restricting airflow into the engine, the bov will vent, just like when you let off the gas to shift in a mt. now in the auto 8, it shouldnt happen unless the ecu is closing down the throttle plate enough when the tranny shifts gears.

the other thing, unless you are tuning correctly for it, you need to use a recirculating bov as the car has a maf, so if the bov vents to atmosphere, the car will most likely "stumble", running extremely rich and possibly bogging down and stalling.
