Question Straight pipes, good or bad?

I'm wanting to put straight pipes on my 04 AT 8. Is there any concern with the engine not getting back pressure from the exhaust? So basically would it be a horse power gain, or loss?

To answer the OP, unless you don't mind noise, you'll be fine. Now, search for the reason
