Step by step to tune up your 8 @200whp
Hi guys,
Just have a thought on this
1. Intake, header, RB highflow cat, exhaust =15HP assume
2. Interceptor X = 10HP assume
3. Turbo, which I don't think is a good idea for automatic. SC maybe better. = 50 HP assume.
4. Our AT with 91 should be 140 @whp on dyno.
5. Spark plug.
6. Emanage? = 10HP adjustment
Should this work up to 200@whp with a fine tuning !?
Lets work together and enjoy the result!! I am looking forward on it.

Bummed, but bring on OU!
With Petit's supercharger, a high flow cat, and a tune you'd be at 200whp+ peak most likely. But that's less important than the torque/power you'll have down low. That's where the big improvement in acceleration will come from.

However, don't be fooled by those that seem to believe that an SC produces more power "low down" than a properly tuned turbo. It just isn't the case.
An SC looses to a turbo in almost every way (oter than the cool noises).

in the end though whichever one delivers the most air with the correct tuning wins, whichever FI you go with.

All of those assumptions have no basis in fact - they rely on anecdotal evidence from one poorly applied or archaic installation after another. Those are simply old assertions made over the years to justify one choice.
There will always be poor ways to implement either.
