Get the inter-X for stable 150WHP, I am thinking of the HKS AMP TWIN POWER as well, spark plug, Nology wires and optima battery, intake and exhaust.

Sure it will get you to 160WHP. Thats what I am doing..

If you need to go over 200WHP, then FI must be.

If you dont mind spending alittle cash Mazsport's spark plug wires and Mazsport's new ignition coils and also there cooling mod. I had nology hotwires and at high rpms had a problem. The Int-x tunedright will give you 20-30 rwhp on a N/A car.

whts the problem on the nology wires? I am going for the HKS TWIN Power asap and then the Denso spark plugs in order to combine my setup of Nology wires and the yellow top optima battery.

The only problem I have is when I am at high rpms in a hot weather, the coolant light went on, but when I shift to the next gear and the rpm dropped the coolant lights went off.

Wierd, eh?

When Scott from Mazsport tuned my 8 i had nology wires on then i switched to his wires and gained over 10 rwhp. At high rpms on the dyno they would cut out, trust me i have seen the difference first hand. Call Mazsport up asap they have new ignition coils that i hear are awesome and worth every penny. Also buy Mazsports cooling mod it will keep the car running cooler.

previous run ...

When i bought the car, i dynoed and it was giving like 169HP to the wheels and now this,i am considering real serious to get rid of it.It had been giving me more problems that service and with the custumer support in PR from mazda and dealership its going to be uphill to find someone who really understand the problem. And be willing to help.So far ive been in two different dealers and the are just as bad as they can be with the warranty and costumer support.

plugs, wires, coils, also check air filter, clean MAF sensor if needed,

if all else fails, u might want to get a compression check

The same happened to my car, just add coolant or water it will go away, seems that at high rpm the cooling system tend to create bubbles.I just added a little bit of cooland and the light was gone for good.

base model ATs don't have DSC/TSC........you're fine, don't need to pull fuses or anything to dyno it, I've done it buncha times

looking at ur graph, it looks like the car is stalling, or something the higher the rpm goes, have u changed your air filter yet?

The Mazmart water pump is designed to get rid of those bubbles. The OEM pump design doesn't do well at high rpms, and the flow tends to break down.

Nology wires are a waste of money trust me i had them on. If you want good spark plug wires get Mazsport's http://www.mazsport.net/store/index....ct_detail&p=19

It makes no sense for an AT to be testing so low on HP. Your AT is rated at around 195HP. 6speed ATs at 210HP. By the way, JDM RX-8s @ 210HP even for 4ATs.

Anything less than 150WHP means there is some serious bad issues going on. It is very possible to get 175WHP and more out of the ATs, though you will see a lot of 160WHP.

You should demand the situation be corrected from Mazda, as this performance is far under their HP claim.

I also agree you should be checking things with them:

. Coolant

. Oil

. Plugs

. Plug wires

. Coils

. Air filter

. MAF sensor

. Do you need a 2nd oil cooler?

. compression check

1st, you need to check in with your Mazda dealer and see what is wrong with your car. There is no point in going further, until a mechanic has told you, "all that could be done has been done".

Just dyno my 8 with greddy turbo kit at 218 HP... its a 4AT. But feeling the tranny is not griping at high RPM. When I punch the gas peddle at 5000 RPM it sliped and jumped to 7000 RPM fast.

i dont know how close you are to NJ but Level Ten in Hamburg NJ will give you a sick custom built transmission. I had my transmission done there and it is basicly a bulletproof tranny that can handle up to 1000hp
