Mazsport Turbo Kits

I have been receiving a lot of phone calls from ye Automatic 8 owners. Just a FYI, all of the Mazsport Turbo Kits will work splendidly with your automatic transmission.

The InterceptorX Engine Managment System will also work with non turbo applications for that extra oompf. I have it in my non turbo manual 8 and get about 10-20 additional HP over the powerband. I believe Scott has seen around 18HP gains in automatic transmissions that are non turbo.

Mazsport has not currently installed any of our kits on an automatic transmission, but it wouldnt be a problem to do so if you are interested.

Stupid question but you know someone is gonna ask and might as well be me. Is the price going to be the same? Also are all "types" of the kit avilable. With you stating this its really put my mind in a bind. Was leaning torwards Pettit but Mazsport now grrr... I need to hit the lotto. Buy another 8 have one with the Pettit and the other with the Mazsport hence the best of both worlds!

We are all rotary you know.

The InterceptorX alone can really give you that added kick you are looking for when driving.

The TURBO KIT prices stay the same.

I gained 18hp in my 04, a/t by adding the X with Scotts stock map. Good investment for me. One of the best parts is that Scott has always been there for my questions.

I have a question about the interceptor, more of a general question about piggyback's, etc. What are the downsides of installing an interceptor? If it gives you 18 hp, to me there must be a cost somewhere, ie fuel economy, durability, etc.

Also, if you use the interceptor without FI, do you still get a CEL?

please review our vendor section for the answer to all of these great questions. If you ask over there and we are unable to respond fast enough, one of the other turbo owner or IterceptorX owners will ususally help out.

We have not installed a Mazsport kit on an Automatic Trasmission at this time. It would be an exciting adventure I'm sure!!

Are you coming to 7Stock this year, Betsy?

You guys should do an "on-site" install of the Int-X to show people how easy it is.

one down side is the initiall cost plus if you want to get it tuned more custom to your car. although its not needed nessisarily

Sweet the price's stay the same! Was dreading a slight increase due to it being a A/T. Now I guess I have to start looking into both you guys and pettit grrr...

So who's gonna be the first to step up to the plate with a extra 9k laying around collecting dust in their savings and buy one of their bad boys?!

Guys,
most here may already know this.

The 3 differences between a M/T and A/T for a turbo are.
1. the transmission (A/T make more heat. get a trans cooler if going FI)
2. 2 less injectors
3. 2 less intake ports.

MM did my tune and and runs fine. Hardest part is the tuning.

Decision....there is no decison between Pettit and Mazsport.

Mazsport hands down has the market locked for FI.....do your own research on Superchargers and Turbochargers.....

The key to a succesful FI car>>>>>>>>>>>>Scott at Mazsport.

Scott has backed me up all the way with my car and my expectations for what this system can do. I support all his projects and endeavors......because in the end Scott has come up with the solution. He will only continue to produce the best......first hand I know of this because of his knack for perfection and not rushing things, exactly the way I wanted to go with this car. Slowly working out the kinks and hiccups and creating ABSOLUTE PERFECTION.

Everyday people ask me about my car and how it is running.....same response it has always been.......EXCELLENT.

I challenge anyone to tell me otherwise, I invite you to drive my car and tell me what you think. His turbosystems are the absolute BEST end of story.

I'd go to the Tokyo Auto Salon!
Not much business to be done there, but it would be fun!

From what i've read in many other posts...yes...it does throw a CEL - however i 'heard' scott was workin' on this...

if the CEL light bugs you - you can purchase a scan II and just reset the light - or the scanalyzer (sp) from Hymee and reset it that way - that or just ig the damn thing...

Reset on the light will last about 3 minutes. That would be even more annoying.
