Question Getting more power from the 4 speed automatic

I bought my RX-8 last year and have to say I love the car. I wanted to know if anyone out there knows how to get more power out of the 4-speed automatic. I know what your thinking if I wanted peformance I should have puchased the 6-speed. The problem is I live in the Atlanta area and traffic is the worst. Shifting gears becomes a real job. Recently I was informed of the huge performance differences between the automatic and stick. Does anyone know how to get more power from this engine without causing damage?

LOL...I'm specifically talking about the Canzoomer tuning, Greddy Turbo, catback exhaust, Racing Beat Intake, and waiting on the outcome of other turbo kits i.e. RE Amemiya. Without boosting--there is maybe 10 to 30HP (super optimistic) to be gained, i.e. a few tenths off of the 0-60 time. Me personally--I think I am going to racing beat exhaust and intake and call it day.

well--mazdatrix sells some of the stuff--maybe some of the other vendors--me personally I troll ebay and the parts for sale forum for racing beat parts--but I may just buy direct from them. If I come across a good borla or hymee for sale I may get that instead of the Racing Beat exhaust.

I was reading somewhere here that PF is in the process of test and then releasing a SC for the 4 port. instant boost, and "easier" on the engine. I'm still trying to wrap my brin around the sc being "easier" on the motor. ..
