Thanks so much for your help...I think I will most likely go with the Supercat as long as it has some deepness of sound to it....also I dont have an aftermarket exhaust on there yet(thats my next step) which one would go best with the SuperCat and the turbo XS midpipe?

^ my friend has a turbo XS midpipe with a stock exhaust, it sounded terrific, like an F1 car, and will free up more hp than a supercat

Mac11 and I ran a track event last month. He had the RB sways installed and I have the stock ones. Looking at the pictures you could see a huge difference in body roll in the turns. Grassroots motorsports did an article about 10 things to do to try to improve handling. Sway bars was one of the things with the best quantifiable results.

My car with stock sways...

Mac's car with Racing Beat sways...

Mac's car was also being driven much harder than mine (it was my first weekend), so the difference is probably more dramatic than it looks.

Hey guys...I now have a RP Supercat on my rx8...my next step is to get a deep sounding exhaust...Does anyone have opinions on the HKS Hi-power exhaust? Does anyone have one? How good is it? I know its only a single-oulet...but it is also much cheaper then many others.

I love the Supercat I think its great... I dont know why you would need one with a silencer cus it is really not that loud at all...its more of a deeper sound..not so much loud. Sounds good

However, if u have an aftermarket exhaust that is already loud, then i would suggest getting the silencer

Hi, in regards to your Int=X could you please post some details? How much? I am wondering did you actually buy the int=x tuned and shipped to you? or you installed from the shop? Hows the dyno? Engine light problems?

Thanks.

I have a question in regards to transmission upgrades. It might be dumb but I'm new to mods, well cars in general.

Has anyone tried or heard of putting a Transgo Transmissino Re-programming kit on an RX-8?

Here's an info link about it.

Haven't looked into it myself, but perhaps others have.

I noticed as I was leaving last night that your car is an AT as well (obvious since you are posting here, I know). Do you have the 4 or 6 speed?

Invasion08, what about the Mazsport Int-x (tuned by scott and tuned for 87 octane)?

Did you buy it pre-tuned? or you flew to scoot for tuning? Thanks.

Ask them if they offer a money back warranty for Mazda RX8 transmissions. You may see why no one will use it.
