Any info on which royal purple or redline products for our 8 (automatic)?

Redline-which of the following should the 8 use?
Synthetic ATF
D4 ATF
Racing ATF
C+ ATF
High-Temp ATF
Synthetic ATF


Royal purple
Max ATF........was that the only one?

I spoke with somebody at Royal Purple on the phone about this several months ago. He told me that the Max ATF would work fine in the AT RX-8, but then proceeded to tell me to wait until after the warranty was up. I asked him to clarify, and he told me that because Max ATF is not officially MERCON V, the customer might be liable for anything that might happen to the AT transmission. But otherwise he stated that it work fine. That is about as a clear an answer I ever got about replacing ATF.

So I bought a case and did a complete transmission flush and replacement with Max ATF in my 2006 Mazda 3 5-speed AT. It works great, shifts are smoother and faster and I have had zero problems with it.

I went w/ High temp ATF about 2 yrs ago. No issues.

 

Flushed mine with D4 ATF just because......
