Everyone just needs to learn to the taste the slow, and love it.

 

These threads just keep popping up. The 8 has been around for around 8 years now and I would have thought that everyone would have know that the AT and manual had differences and that overall the 8 is not a fast car. If the OP had done his due diligence he would have found that the AT RX8 lacks stock power and maybe would have purchased something else.

Why do some of the buyers have to show their lack of investigative skills and make these threads......................But of course children do like to cry

I knew what I was getting into and took care of the stock problems with the after market. If you want to bitch about something, bitch about Mazda not offering a Mazda Speed upgrade for additional power as they do with most of their other vehicles.

 

Dont you know Phil, that these people were forced to take ownership of these AT RX8s, they never wanted it, they were only there to pick it up because it was the ethical thing to do.

But being serious, the AT is what the AT is. It is already proven fact that the 4 port AT rx8 is drastically slower then the 6 port MT, however the 6 port AT closes this gap. No amount of bitching and whinging will change this fact, the only thing that will change this situation is $.

Just enjoy what you got, or trade it in. I head those auto R35s are pretty decent

 

yes i agree i'm starting to realize that i have what i have and its better for me just to keep what i got until i get ready to trade it in for an evo or 6spd 8. no need dumping money in it anymore
