Vacuum/boost gauge reading vs E01

This is strange. My mechanical vacuum/boost gauge reads -30 at idle, and goes up to -20 under light throttle. At WOT, it goes up to about 0 psi, or maybe +1. Also, when the car is shut down but the power is on, the gauge reads about -18 (I thought it would go to 0).

However, the vacuum/boost gauge on my E01 reads -8.5ish at idle, goes up to about -5 under light throttle, and at WOT was going up to +10 psi (yikes!).

Any ideas on the disparity between what the E01 is reading vs what my mechanical gauge reads?

Where are the vacuum hoses on each gauge connected at? Does it really feel like 10 psi of boost, ie. fast as hell and stuck to the seat?

Sonds to me like the E01 is more accurate. I am waiting to install my turbo, but in the mean time I have the E01 already installed. At idle there is about a -8 to -10 psi vacuum, which is what you are reading with it. -30psi is too strong of a vacuum to be realistic.

You should connect them to the same port and then check the readings again.

I confirmed that its a bad manual vacuum gauge.
