Tips for a mazda upgrade

Hey guys I recently got an 04 mazda with sport package everything is stock.

I'm going to put all new speakers and a sub in it and some 16' - 18' wheels/rims

But as far as the engine goes I don't know anything about that area.
I was wondering if anyone has some tips of things I can get installed to boost my horsepower up about 50-70 and increase performance

Just try to spend a little time and do a search first, there is all kinds of info on this site. Learn about the site and you'll be much better off. There are tons of opinions(both good and bad). I looked at this site and did nothing but read and search for the first two months before I even said a word or asked a question. Understand that we see this from almost every new owner. I'm off of soapbox now!

LOL why would i spend an hour searching for an exact thread when you wonderfully knowledgable people can tell me how to put 50-70 horsepower on my car without taking **** apart.

You should've used your *Quick reply* time to give me a few sentences.

Real simple dude, use the search button on the top menu bar. Any question you have has been asked before so the locals get real tired of the same **** over and over.
Just trying to be nice.

Because there are no easy HP upgrades for this car that don't require taking **** apart. Your options are Turbo or Supercharger. You should have come here and read a little before you bought the car.

Sorry dude, but you set yourself up for it.

No no buying the car wasnt a mistake. Even if I cant do much upgrading engine wise. A system + bodykit and such will do me just fine.

All the information you seek is already listed here on the site. Instead of looking for it and researching your future purchases, you expect us to do the leg work for you and repeatedly answer this question again for you when it's already asked several times a week as is.

Maybe it's time to rethink your stance on this. Either that or start paying us for our time and effort, then you'll see less complaints.

... and if you've got ADD, just buy the stuff in my sig, and you'll get exactly what you want in terms of power.

If you're not willing to spend some time digging up information that is readily available on the forums, then who really thinks you'll have the time to do things correctly? And if you're just going to half *** something, pop an engine, and then bad mouth the car, who really wants to help you?

People put in the work to write rather lengthy explanations and reviews of things so that others can search those write ups out and utilize them. It's a waste of time to rewrite them every time someone buys an Rx-8.

I'm also new to the RX-8. My best advice is to go to each forum(and it's sub folders) and read all the stickys. Almost all your question will be answered. You will find many other threads linked in the stickies.

depends on the sig. you can pick and item and do a google search and get the price.. repeat for the rest of the items...

that should keep you busy for a while... after that read all the stickys.. most of you inane ?s will be answered in the faq section.. brillo made a great post there.

and as always you have to watch it to the end....
