I have been contacted by Dave's close freind who knew about it and advised me.
An honest man has honest people for freinds.
In fact he was emailing me as I was posting.

Sadly I have alot of freinds at the big racetrack in the sky. He'll be in good company.

Ok everyone--been thinking a little. Lets show the power of this forum a little. In rememberance of our forum/personnel friend--why dont we all on Saturday 2/3/07 at 3PM EST(so the west coast wont have to do this early in the am) run their rotary powered car up to 9K for Guitarjunkie . A rotary salute if you will. What do yall think?

^^ Though the pleasant music this would provide might fall pleasingly onto the ears of those that mourn the passing of our friend, I don't really see how this would be any different from any other Saturday afternoon.

Aren't most of us at redline by that point?

I'd like to suggest another thread specifically in memory of Dave. If that seems redundant let me know. Perhaps closer friends of his can be contacted to provide better pictures of him and his work throughout the years. Maybe even a sticky in the Lounge section or something. Sometimes were gone and forgotten so quickly.

Paul.

I dont know what to say other than Holy ****!! He will be missed...I think I've honestly read a majority of his posts and am better for it. He has added so much to our lives and deserves our respect!

I am sad to see him go but I am happy to know he's in a better place!

Take care my friend!

I hadn't met Dave but had admired his willingness to help others out.

That inspired me and am glad for that.

If there is a place that allows a person to do what they want for eternity then he has it made.

It was a good Memorial run.

I missed the Califorina Speedway event and then I found out we almost lost another one........
