^huh u make a point....off to ebay to send a message.....

oh..05rex8....seeing u bough a used greddy kit right? does this look like a decent kit or does it look beat up? I mean i know it's not going to b perfect however it looks good and used...need to see what's up with that turbo too greddy internals and the "shell" is not prob rebuilt right? Knowing that those Journal bearing turbos are not the best especially without proper oiling and not lettting it "cool" after boost and shut off

It looks like it has been used, thats for sure....Since it has the emanage blue, it probably is a very early kit. Make sure you ask how many miles are on it. You will most likely need the turbo rebuilt. Might as well too while it's off the car. It's a PITA to take off/reinstall.

Also that downpipe looks fubar'd....looks like he had a custom exhaust to mate up with it....

You will need a CAI, accessport, all new t-bolt clamps, silicone couplers, probably new bolts and studs, nuts, and gaskets. Also a HKS SSQV BOV or Synapse synchronic over the GReddy one. I would recommend a GReddy oil pan too...makes installing the return line a breeze.

I wouldn't pay more than 1000 for that kit....maybe less.

edit: I guess it's not the actual greddy turbo, just the housing...I read it again....different turbo and had to get the downpipe customized.....I wouldn't buy that for any more than 600 now that I think about it.

looks like most of the big pieces are there anyways....just the small things needed adds up, and gets very annoying...trust me, I know.

the turbo may not be bad though....find out what the deal with it is exactly

oh and you will need a wideband AFR gauge and boost gauge....forgot those. boost controller is up to you.

you can get EGT and CT from OBD2,, no need to spend $ on them..

don't rush this.

you can use the scangauge for anything obd2 - you can view up to 4 at a time.

do not use obd for AFR. it is imperative that you use a wideband o2 sensor and module for the most accurate AFR/Lambda.

that is limited to a narrowband sensor that oscillates.

if you're serious you should have a standalone AFR gauge sitting at the most prominent point it can be, the vent defrost pod is a great spot for it.
