And I read your other post about what the Greddy kit needs, so I know I need at least those items to run efficiently.

I am running the greddy turbo right out of the box with the EMU with no problem.

Mine runs under 12 AFRs (with free-flowing exhaust that ain't bad)... I just can't stand the backfiring. I haven't read about a way to tune it out either.

mike, are you running with a BOV? I recirculated my BOV and had no backfires at all. Not even slightly. I then thought I had worked out all the bugs (Had issues with couplers blowing up, and coils dying) and took it off. Sure enough, it backfired constantly. So I ended up putting it back on.

It's really not the fault of the EMU, since the backfires are the result of the stock PCM dealing with the loss of air, and more fuel than it expected. You might be able to tune it out with software..

My BOV is vented to atmosphere. Never had any backfires - even when I was running the blue emanage.

I have the int-x installed right now, and BOV isn't recirculated, I have no backfires, same car, same intake, but of course there is no MAF in the equation.

By backfire, I mean letting off the throttle or shifting, even from a low speed would cause it to gurgle and pop. At higher rpms I would be throwing fireballs at every shift.

i tried the anti stall map, didn't help :P

and I do have a BOV vented to atmosphere

no matter, I'm going to be using Interceptor-X soon anyway

although sometimes it's funny to scare small children with a monstrous backfire... it's not too great with a girl riding shotgun
