Supercharger Build

I am planning a Pettit build and want to make sure i am headed in the right direction. my goal is 300ish as a daily driver. i read a lot of the Pettit owners thread. i want to know what else is going to help me. i own a 04 with 55k. I have an AP to tune with. parts to purchase are:

1. Pettit stage 2 kit
2. Mishimoto Rad
3. Samco hoses
4. BHR coils
5. a midpipe (havent decided)
6. the misc gauges to monitor with

i wanna know if i have missed anything. the following for s/c is a lot smaller than turbo. so i just wanted some s/c advice. thanks

Have you read other Pettit S/C build threads? Tons of info, and really helpful tips on things you may have missed or not even thought of!

It sounds like a reasonable parts list, do your research on the mishimoto rad though!

that's the problem with going F/I. Some people like a product, others don't. And then the fight starts lol. The best thing to do is do your own research on a specific product and come to a conclusion based on your needs.

If a radiator fits badly and cools less than the stock unit is there a choice to be made?

^Stock radiator is prone to failure. The top plastic piece can break.

I recommend the BHR radiator (well tested by mua).

Sorry no pics of the failure. The nipple the coolant hose attaches to will decay and become brittle. When we removed the hose from Aipex8's radiator the nipple came off and literally fell apart in our fingers.

i have also been looking at exhausts. agency power and turboxs. i cant determine which one is quieter(youtube dont help). as for the radiator thing i think its usage that deteriates, i.e. the harder it works the faster it brittleizes

I have been considering the Pettit SC as well, and things I have been looking at are the RE-Medy waterpump and the BHR fuel pump. You should consider BHR's radiator and midpipe. From what i have read they seem to have very good products. And agreed, Afg internet sucks.
