StealthTL's Greddy kit install....
Nuke, if you go to the last reply in my pic thread (click my pic) I just told someone that!
Unless you want to "twist" them, you will need a full length mounting bracket to hold all three gauges. You will need to make this yourself.

Basic Greddy kit, bought used.
Greddy blowoff valve, installed by kit owner. (nice job)
Doesn't that say that the previous owner did a nice job?
I certainly don't want to claim that I installed it - just that I was inspecting the weld on the inside as I assembled it, and made a mental note to give an attaboy to the welder.
I'm quite insulted that anyone would think I didn't put this thing together myself.......

thanks for the tips guys. i was pretty sure i had to go custom, just didn't know if there was a way to use any of the supplied parts. i'd still like to see pics if you can get them so it can make it a little easier to figure out what i need.
Good stuff - the dropping of both motor mounts was to allow you to move the engine over to the drivers side. Helps a lot when you get your GT3071R... that thing is tight.
After wrapping all my pipes - I haven't seen anymore carpet singing damage....so I think it works.

If the true comes out.....
I'm definitely a turbo-noob.
I was more than 'surprised' by the different feel of the kitted car.
I have never owned a boosted car, never driven a boosted car, I have in fact never even been a passenger in a boosted car.....rotary or other.
I think I may enjoy it.....

No, for both reasons - it's not tuned, so I have to get the AP ball rolling, plus the roads are murderous lately, even a clumsy gear-change will put you sideways on the highway and under a semi....
Gotta generate some MAF and idle logs and get some tunage. But meanwhile I'll really enjoy the pops and bangs of this rich map!!

If you think buying stuff is fun, then you should definitely go FI... you buy stuff like crazy. You think you are going to buy just like a kit or something and then bang you buy 20 additional purchases to make the kit work and end up selling a spleen to pay Jeff for parts and it just gets better from there!
Yeah, a used GReddy kit is cheap, but adding gauges, midpipe, engine management, upgraded turbo, injectors etc etc gets pricey fast not counting any installation costs. It's not a cheap hobby.

yeah hopefully i can find a used greddy for about 1500 or so and not gonna upgrade the turbo to start ust gonna play with it as is but with everything(not installation i'm doing it myself) will run me around 2500 or so not including tuning it on dyno/street! also not injectors now either basically just turbo kit boost, AFR, EGT, Oil Press, Coolant Temp, Boost controller and turbo timer and catch can!

It's a stock screen from the old airbox - comes with a nice rim, and as you can see in the first picture, it fits in the MAF tubing but from there on, the tubing is quite a bit smaller, so it stays in place.
That was part of the rationale for putting it there, to counter any turbulence from the abrupt tubing diameter stepchange.
