Yep, it’s worked well for me. No shaft play, nice and smooth. Last year I thought it might have an issue that was causing my gradually reduced boost but that turned out to be cracks in the exhaust manifold.

Slash, the lines for your omp are now crimp style ends, the banjo connectors do not look stock as well, would you by any chance happen to have a link for the parts used, or maybe the banjo connector size

Sorry mate... I looked around the garage for the parts list but I couldn't find it, I probably tossed it out. Off the top of my head I think the OMP bolts are M6, so those banjo fittings would be 6mm ID and the oil injector thread size is M10 so 10mm ID banjo fitting. I think the line ID was around 3mm. This is all just based of my vague memory so take it as best guess

Got the Sake Bomb Garage coils and liking them. The kit was well put together, wiring well done. So far no drop out at high boost, ie: > 15psi. Stock coils served me well up to 17psi but would fail altogether fairly often and I got tired of replacing them. I tried the D585 coils in the past but they always had dropout > 15psi, regardless of dwell. Fingers crossed the IGN-1A coils last longer than stock

I watched a video where some guys in Australia put a rig together to measure the energy output of the coils and the IGN coils produced above 100 joules with a longer spark duration, these should be more than adequate for your application.
How much boost are you running now?

Can't wait to see how those coils work for you.
I was able to run my D585s up to 28 psi with a plug gaped at 0.018-0.02" without spark blowout. I believe dwell was 3.5-4.0, Getting the D585s to last more than a few thousand miles was damn near impossible.
I plan on going to 30 psi+ this year so I may be moving to the IGN coils....

So far they have been performing great. If they last longer than factory coils then they are certainly worth it for me.
I tried up to 5ms dwell on the D585s but I use the NGK 5255 plugs which aren't adjustable. I can see potential with a tight gap. But the thought of that little electrode strap breaking loose and flying around didn't sit well with me... With the IGN coils I don't have to mess with dwell and can run 5255 plugs no problem. Also, I experienced a high failure rate with the 585's, many time dead brand new out of the box.
30psi jeebus lol... I'll probably never run higher than 20psi. That's where things start to choke out on my setup. Just can't flow anymore through the engine...

Slash,
Do you mind sharing some details about your W/M setup?
- What kit are you running?
- Are you running a simple pressure switch on/off... or progressive?
- Where are you injecting?
- Are you running it to cool (W), octane boost (M)...or both (x% W/M)?
- What results are you seeing from running it?
I'd appreciate any insights from your experience...I'm trying to understand pros & cons between W/M and ethanol mixing.

This thread on rx7club.com has some good information.

They also have an A/I section with a thread or two that talk about injectants.

As I said I'm evaluatiing pros / cons of W/M vs. ethanol mixing (E30). .
- I like that ethanol doesn't require a new stand-alone system, but dont want to be hop-scotching around chasing E85 stations if/when I do road trips.
- Conversely, in spite of the additional system, I like that W/M boosts octane, cools, AND steam cleans carbon from the cylinders.
Brett indicates having found little benefit in W/M after significant experimentation...thinking the UIM/LIM manifold may not be conducive to it. So, he has gone the ethanol route.... obviously with success. So I want to get Slash's Renesis specific input since he appears to be having some success with W/M.

If I had the option of running Ethanol I would do that instead. I used to run E50 and I loved it. Was able to run leaner and more timing and get noticeably more power with no downside other than lower MPG. But then the one station in town quit carrying it, which is why I added this.

I’m running the Devil’s Own kit with progressive controller. I start injecting around 7psi and full at 17psi. Injecting washer fluid from the tank. I got it with the hope of detonation protection. Been using it since 2016 with no (known) det events, knock on wood. Maybe it’s just placebo. I feel safer with it

Where are your injection nozzle(s)?
Given the boost you're running... based on the AI, does your AI system have a failsafe to cut boost in the event the juices stop flowing?
Edit: Yeah, I've ~ half dozen more qts of Idemitsu I want to burn thru... and then may try an ethanol mix...E30. I've two stations ... both ~ 30 min. away that sell E85. I need to determine how long it'll keep... but if feasible would fill a 40 gal drum, and mix from the house. We'll see...
Thx.

Hey Slash, I wanted to extend some gratitude so here goes, I figured your thread should get them first, a detailed build thread will follow when I am finally done
I have lots of tidying up to do...lots of pipes and hoses are yet to be put in there, but I am getting there
Thank you, your build has been an inspiration for me
