How long would a cat even function with a turbo.. seems like it would melt rather quicklike? or is that way off base?

Turbo doesn't alter fuel at all- only air. If you slapped a turbo on and did no tuning you would actually run lean=hot

What causes the hp and torque to fall so rapidly at around 7600 rpm's?

Is that a turbo size problem? If so do you have a larger turbo option?

I saw someone ask if you had a optional turbo but I dont know the model numbers for them and the differences but I wanted to know if the other turbo would flow better in the high revs.

I dont beleive it is turbo related at all.Every dyno chart I have seen for a turboed RX-8 shows power falling off rapidly at high rpms.I am convinced it has to do with the secondary butterfly system or the ports themselves. However, I am by no means a Renesis guru like some of the other members on the boards.Maybe they can chime in?

We do offer other turbos that can move more air per psi of boost which trnaslates into more power.I dont think it will change the way the power falls off at high rpms though.

Yes.That is not a problem since we build the manifolds in-house but we still need a car to make sure there are no other differences. We wouldnt want to sell a system that wouldnt fit.

You are probably blowing out spark at those numbers. That was my problem, and it has been recently rectified. That is a pretty sweet price for the kit Tim. Simply awesome.

Is the $7k price including the
Ball-bearing turbo option and
RC 550cc injectors for tuner kit ?

Or do you have to pay the additional amount to get the ball bearing turbo?

I wasn't sure if those prices for the additional stuff were for if you bought the kit without ems or if you bought the whole kit you had to pay more ontop of the full price.
