SFR turbo system-Massive price reduction!

Many people are aware of the 326WHP Speed Force Racing RX-8 turbo system. We have been able to recently lower the price tag to a little over $XXXXX......no prices allowed if not a forum vendor....Swith a tuned Powermod ECU(or $XXXXXfor a tuner system with no EMS or injectors).Originally we released this kit at a whopping $XXXXXbut has the years have passed we found ways to cut costs and transfer the saving to our customers. We have many customers running this set-up since 2004'. Anyways, I want to let people know about the price reduction. We also wanted people to know about the quality of this system compared to other sytems on the market.Everything is built in-house here in America and everything component that we produce is TIG welded with the finest materials available. When we built this system,we took a no compromise approach. Here are a couple pics that support this claim. Take care.

Wow - some real good choices coming out for the 8 now .

SFR - Just curious - what prompted your choice of Powermod vs EMU or Int X. ?
only asking because I already have one .

At the time we developed this system,it was the only thing that actually worked and did what we needed it to do.

temp diff from that location vs in front of the intercooler is negligible. at most a few degrees higher when the car is stopped, the same temp when the car is moving.

geez there rick...

they were first-ish. supply and demand and all that. Every new product goes through price phases. They start expensive, and as R&D costs are recouped and a supply network is built, the cost comes down. If there is competition in the market, the cost reduction is passed on to the consumer, so as to remain competitive. 'Tis the nature of business.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Regardless of the reasons for a lower price point as long as the quality does not suffer it is all good news. Why should forum members lash out at a vendor that is trying to be more competitive on price? That is just....
Apparently some peolpe here have never looked at prices for FI mods for Corvettes, Vipers, BMWs, EVOs, G35s etc. You gotta pay to play.

I am all for reduced pricing, I may have to re-think the 08 Z51 Vette I have been lusting after.

BTW, does the Powermod cause the ecu to throw a CEL?

you guyz are right what i said may be a little harsh so i took down the post. as for being imature or an idiot, i dont think because we share different views warants those comments. and for someone to write those things about myself would put them in the same catagory they accused me of being in.

i may have put that down in a rant, however i stand by opinion. i know there not here for charity and they can ask whatever they want for their product. but i think the post above said it best "what sfr said may not have been entirely true, but who cares".........i care. and that is the point. i dont want anyone im buying a product from not being honest.

go through and read my posts i dont slander anyone. as a matter of fact i like this kit. if you read through some of my other posts ive stuck up for this product and there manufacturer when alot of other forum member were down playing them. lets just agree to disagree. the reason for lowering the price at the time they did obviously matters more to me than it does to others.

im sorry for offending anyone. i was a little to harsh " il admit to my mistakes". but you cant let companies do things like that. at least i cant.

Rick, it's kinda funny that you and me are the only people on here that see things like this. I have liked this kit for some time now and mainly because it wasn't the highest priced one out there and now with them being close to the price of the Esmeril I would have to really look at both before I picked one. Being originally a small amount of kits available people could charge what they wanted.
