The fastest 2 rotor in the world is "Sporty Racing" from PR the record was 7.34 sec 1/4 mile.
Someone tell me that he runs and 7.20 but the last one that I remember as a offical record is the 7.34 sec. I don't know if someone brake his record recently...........

On 3 rotors the "Major league" (with a RX8 body) runs a 6.81 sec 1/4 mile.
Ibarra maked 6.80 sec. This major league is goin to catch him....................
all this records are on NHRA certified tracks.............................

Here is also a lot of other Rotary world records holders in other categoires like 3/4 chassis, full body, etc.

I agree with you there are a lot of very fast Rotaries over in Puerto Rico. Puerto Ricans love the Rotory motor. I honestly feel though Amamiya builds the best rotory engines money can buy, he's been working with them I believe for at least the past 20 years if not much longer then that. It's just my opinion.

Oh as far as the picture goes, those aren't finished yet. Still have to be coated and wrapped. I've heared mixed reviews about PFSupercars when Peter ran the shop, but that's before I met them. Yeah so it's been 6 months since my car has been up there. It doesn't really matter though because I have my GSX and my RX-7 to drive around in until it's finished. Besides that I want my car to be done correctly, and I want it to hit my goal. We'll see what happens down the road.

I think you missed my point. "Coating and wrapping" will not make up for thin materials and carless design.
That 3-1 collector is going to get seriously toasty and the thin-gauge steel will bubble. Ask me how I know. Wrapping it will only make it worse. Plus, having the legs at different lengths but meeting in one spot is not a particularly efficient way to merge - this will be important when you are reaching for such a lofty HP goal and every bit counts.

Furthermore, just because it is taking a long time, doesn't mean it is being done "right". It just means you are not a priority.
A shop like that who really wants to get a project like that out the door (for exposure or floor space, whichever is the actual priority), will do so in about two or three weeks.
The only reason it is taking so long is they either don't know what to do or they don't really care that much.
Real R&D would mean they would be on their 3rd or 4th build by know - taking a long time for the first build is not R&D.
You should have already had it back to them for your third round of tuning and fabrication by now. (Or they should have been running it around if they didn't want to deliver prior to meeting your goals.)

PTP's manifold looks a lot better than what they have done for you.
For the amount of money you are sinking into this you should expect a lot more from them and alot higher quality.

You're wrong... Australia has good cars, but the fastest are from Puerto Rico and one from U.S.A.

World fastest 2 rotor 13B turbo, Sporty 7.34 @ 180mph P.R.

World fastest modified 13B turbo, Anais 7.37 @ 181mph P.R.
World fastest 2 rotor 12A turbo, Dereck racing 8.18 @ 157mph P.R.

P.R. fastest 3 rotor 20B, Major League 6.81 @ 202mph & Siguel 6.89 @ 199mph

3 rotor 20B, Flaco's RX8 1,565 hp. (street port, turbo)
3 rotor 20B, Major League 1,360 hp. (pheripheral port, turbo)

For those who thinks that is "impossible" to get 1,000hp from a 2 rotor;
*2 rotor 13B-RE, Fabiola N.G. 1,016 hp (pheripheral port, turbo)
*2 rotor 13B-RE, Quiles 918 hp (street port, turbo)

We'll see what happens. Because I am not an expert when it comes to turbo's or rotory motors. Anyways any extra information that can be provided would be appreciated.

Fastest in 1986 was Jim Mederer on the long course at Bonneville with 2 run avg of 238.442 mph in this car which ran 1 bar of boost and made 530 hp at 8500rpm

here's a later run in a 3rd gen that ended badly
http://www.big-boys.com/articles/rx7.html

following up on that Jim mederer went back in 1995 with this car

it made 760hp at 8k rpm witha 13g turbo'd engine runnign 1 bar and set the new (and current) long course record at 242.005

Hi Eighman ones of the bigger problem with renesis is it side housing and the port desing there are very weak and has no enough room for port as soon you're boosting the engine above 18 psi it come to start breaking side housing due to a very high exhaust temperature above 1600 f and the apex seals can,t handle this high temp too. The renesis engine is a great motor with a great HP potantial maybe in the future someone may start to manufacture some high perfomance side housing with a big ports and with thinner walls in this case you will able to produce more HP inclusive more than the periferals exhaust ports.

^^ you mean acceleration over a set distance (1/4 mi) versus flat out top speed.

I forget who it was and I don't think it was ever official. But there was a White FC out at the Bonniville salt flats. I believe he reach 210 mph before the car decided to flip over. Thanks for the info Rgonza. I'll see what we can do to address this issue. Besides that I need to sit down and have a talk with Ray anyways. This project needs to get a MOVE ON! WOOHOO!

No that was an 86 FC! Like I said a white FC. Didn't know about the FD though. But going from a high horsepower RX-8 to quickest and fastest rotories, how the hell did that happen? lol. Anyways I'll try to get it back on the right track. Oh yeah, stopped up Rays shop today and the motor it coming out . Still have a ways to go, but it's making progress.

The motor is out and apart right now. Looking at a couple of different possibilities of how to work with this motor. This may be the last time I post for at least a couple of weeks. I found out today that my grandmother may have breast cancer, and one of my aunts had to go on life support today because of some health issues. So it's not been a great week for me. I'll try to get back to guys when I have the chance.
