USD Price, update req, and *bump!*

Uh hey. Long time listener first time caller... I am very much interested in this, and would love to piece it together to cut costs, however I'm also lazy and not competant in myself to start from scratch or a universal kit on something of this scale (since I've never done it before).

I am not sure if your testing period is over, however mentions of new customer installs were posted recently. And will the price come down from the predicted $7-8000 USD (from AUStoUSD)? Maybe with Intercooler and/or PowerMod optional? As already mentioned in the thread, the Procharger Universal kit (info mailed only mentioned C-1) with intercooler included (but not controller) is less than half of what is predicted for your kit. I'm not expecting same price, but curious as to what is included and if that is the 2x missing part.

Your product, along with ATI's track record, has sold me on how my RX is going to go FI, but money is (as always) an issue. And as sad as it sounds, I've checked this thread prolly 3 times a week for the past month. I bet others would love to have an update on this project. Oahu might be small, but I would burn the hell out of the roads if this was under the hood!

Nice.

How do you get the procharger installed from the United States??? Any plans to set something up with U.S. dealers?

The 'Turbo' pic was from when this car was turbocharged. Joe (Rotormaster) was among the first in the world to turbocharge an RX-8 (in 2003/2004). He dropped the 'turbo kit' to design the current ProCharger system with us (DNA Motorsport). The ProCharger proved much better for power increase, ease of install and the reliability requirements on such a new daily driven vehicle.

Here is the link to RX-8 ProCharger system 3D model: http://dnamotorsport.com/AboutUs/About_Us.htm

The USA release of this kit is still a little while away. Sorry for the delay. Stay tuned.

Thanks for the reply - What 3D software do you use? We use Parametric Technologies ProE here at the factory.

You must know, that there are three SC coming to market. Centrifugal, Rotary, and Axial. I'm waiting to see which one prevails for reliability. Can you tell me how many hours have you logged on your test cars?

Will this kit allow you to choose boost levels, something like the Blitz supercharger kits? I'm trying to understand what you guys mean by customizing the boost percentage between 60% to over 80%.

What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting? any numbers?
