A question about nitrous!

So I sprayed my zex kit a few times today and I noticed that when I'm at a stop and the nitrous is active once I floor it I take off like a rocket!! This is not a bad thing but I thought that it only sprays at WOT which is around 4k rpm correct me if I'm wrong!

I used the 55 shot then the 75 shot (I kno it's not good to use such I high shot without engine management)I only used it twice then I went back to 55 cuz I got nervouse but man that 75 felt like heaven!

But please some answers cuz I thought that spraying at low RPM can cause detonation

The ZEX kit is not able to determine what your RPM is. The window switch (provided you programmed it correctly) is designed to engage at WOT. It doesn't matter if you are at a dead stop, 9,000 rpms or even if the motor isn't running. If the module is powered on and it sees the appropriate voltage from the TPS then it will spay.

Spraying at low RPM's does not cause detonation. It can, in some situations, cause a nitrous "backfire". Fuel is sprayed through your intake manifold with the nitrous. Under low RPM situations there might not be enough engine vacuum to pull the fuel in quickly causing it to puddle. Then the presence of a hot seal can ignite the fuel causing an explosion in your upper intake manifold.

This will destroy your manifold and possibly cause other damage under your hood. BHR always advises people to spray at least above 4500 RPMS. Anything else is at your own risk.

That's what I thought in the instructions it says the zex kit reads the TPS that's y it tells u to press down fully on the gas peddle to program the module! This helps it to read the voltage at WOT!!

I also did notice the second time I used the 75 shot in first gear the car started to sputter as if the bottle was empty
