Is our wastegate adjustable???

Can we replace it? Is our adjustable?? How??
I am ony getting 5.7 psi, and it is supposed to be 7 psi from factory. What about those people running 8 and 9 psi, how do you adjust that???
Thanks

Greddy! I think we don't have a Honda Civic in this forum, lol. No many options, and I dont know about the first guy who has a "other than greddy" turbo in their Rx8 yet. sorry but that's a kind of dumb question.

yes, the wastegate should be adjustable by disconnecting the one end of the actuator rod, and screwing or unscrewing the "yoke" on the end of the rod. another option, if the greddy kit has a pressure line running to the wastegate, install a manual bleed valve, or use a electronic boost controller.

No it isn't. There's one guy who did a custom turbo install, another in Australia with a turbo no one knows details about and a few others who mounted SSR's kit.

Yes, be sure to "shorten" the rod a turn or two (one or two more if it needs be), which you will have to do from the underneath. We lenghtened mine using some other logic and didn't get anywhere .
Going to shorten it back up tomorrow, but got a boost controller standing by just in case that doesn't work...may put it in regardless.

You really need to get a boost controller -- that together with adjusting the wastegate will allow you to tune your boost settings.
