Best bet is to use one of the existing nipples on the lower manifold.
That way, any oil that goes the wrong direction will not spray down the entire inside of your manifold.

That said, you probably don't need to worry about any of this. I suggest you do the vacuum test on your nozzles. If they hold a vacuum, don't do anything.

So we need to seek out the "Flying Spaghetti Monster" (FSM) for the procedure??

Good thing I'm a pastafarian!

I checked the nozzle assembly on the current motor and it holds a vacuum just fine.
I'll have to keep checking it periodically.

Let us know if you find a reason for the other check valves not working.

Sounds like the system would be happier with clean oil being fed to it rather than what it gets stock. That may be a compromise high performance owners may want to address.

Waiting on the edge of my seat MM!

Well, I vac tested them all (and the nozzles in the current engine) and I'm 50% on them.
All of the nozzles in the current motor check out and 2 out of the previous 8 do as well.
Soaking them with carb cleaner did nothing, but that might change after a few days.
I'll hit them with some high-pressure air and see if they snap shut.
This would be a very tiny vacuum leak under normal circumstances.

Small enough a vacuum leak for a rough idle? That thought is from my carb days... I dont know how the 8s injection would react.

I don't think so. Even if all four were wide open, I don't think it would even draw as much air as the air mixing jets in the primary ports which are also un-metered.

I'm more concerned about the oil delivery during positive manifold pressure.

all of the rx7 turbo aftermarket turbo kits have you put the vacuum feed for the metering nozzles in front of the turbo.

sometimes this doesnt work, and capping them off does. its confusing.

Cool

I have a plan and I'm ready to test it but I do have a question. Of the two hoses that go below the manifold(OMP and FI) Which one is the one for the OMP? They both have a small painted rectangle on them, one is white and the other is yellow. Which is which? Let me know. Thanks
