Ohh noes car issues.
So I drive 3 min to get my haircut about .5 miles car was fine. When i came out the car started fine, but I had no power. I mean the car will not rev above 4k rpms at idle. Vac readings seemed ok 15-16 and the idle was a little more rough but not horrible. The weird thing was when i shut the car off disconnected the battery and restarted it after start I can rev the car up to 6k rpms but once it gets to 6k it slowly drops back down to 4k.

Coils could be at fault.

yea, i dont have the cat. As soon as it happened I thought about that. I have a friend with a ODBII scanner. I will have the code tomorrow. I had to leave it at work tonight.
From what I could do in a parking lot with a screwdriver. I removed the piping right before the throttle body. Since I have the intercepter I didnt need the maf. This resulted in no change so I can rule out an obstruction in the intake air flow. I know my coils were weak by my dyno of the car when I got the tune done.
I think i did notice more of a gas smell. I dont know if it was in my mind or not.
Thanks Charles I cant wait to see them come in.

So i got a scanner today, re-connected the battery... It had been sitting since thursday so I disconnected the battery when I had reconnected the battery before the CEL came right back on.
Murphy's law doesnt dissapoint, no code. Car started right up. Let it warm up and reved it... It reved fine. Save the sound of a few pop's from the exhaust guess I will take it for a little drive before I drive the hour to return the scanner.

So i went to take the car for a drive. CEL is back and car will not rev past 4k again.
I tried to pull the code and got "No Codes" I could deffinatly hear some missfires. I confused why I wouldnt get any codes with a CEL. I verified the scanner was working by dissconnecting the MAF and starting the car. I recieved 4 codes.
Anyone have any clue on this? Ray from PFS said that if the OMP wires had burt the car would go into limp mode. I couldnt see all of them with the wrapping stil on the car but the ones I saw looked ok.

The saga continues, I replaced the coils today with BHR, the car was actually a little harder to start but the idle was improved.
If i remove the Fuel Pump fuse and run crank the car then replace the fuse I can fire up the car and it can rev to 9k I can hold this for about 5 seconds until I slowly lose power to the point I can hardly hold 4k rpms with the car not in gear.
Anyone have any clue?

I finally found it. Turns out it was the OMP harness the plastic had gotten brittle and im guessing the connection got weak. Looks like this weekend I will be taking the uppipe off fixing and relocating the wireing. Thank God for premix. Engine appears to be fine as I have good vac and car starts right up.

For informational purposes I wanted to show the effect of leaving the stock OMP wires in the same place with the SFR turbo kit. Not really an issue with the kit just wanted eveyone to know the stock wire location will not surfice. I will be relocating them above the pump once I finish splicing them. The uppipe was wrapped with exhaust wrapping and the OMP area was shielded aswell. Here is the result.
