Is it wrong that I want this - just to compare to the 3071R?

Too bad I gave my Greddy away like a week before BNR started doing this....GRRRRR

I am going to install this when I get..the turbo that Bryan is showing is the mine. I am supposed to receive it here real soon. I will then have a few things installed as well, then tune it with Kane's PPO2. I will post a dyno, etc. Maybe even do a pull at 14psi, with Meth of course and see what kind of numbers this thing will put out.

Kane since we will be using the same tuning software, I suppose that we should be able to compare how it performs versus the GT3071R. I am looking forward to this. It has been a while since I have driven my 8.

Looking at the picture if the upgrade are we still able to use the supplied greddy oil feed and drain parts and clearance shouldn't be a issue with the coolant lines?

Clearance is fun.... but not a huge issue.

Running the coolant lines is easy since we already have them in the car (look at your throttle body sometime).

Is there any price breaks if I were to buy the entire greddy kit from you and have you upgrade the brand new turbo??

It seems like there would be enough room for the oil drain tube. If not, the water tube can be simply cut and use a rubber line to reroute. I know one water line will work. The tubes can also be moved with a screw driver and bend them whichever way you want it to point to a certain extent. The oil supply fitting I have to rethread it with a die and it bolts up to this center housing w/o any adapters or extra fittings which makes it a nice and clean install.

I will be going to a better turbine wheel design so you have that option if you don't want to stay with the factory greddy turbine wheel. If the turbo is "new", there will be a discount issued to the customer.

That is right. When you need this upgrade, go to Jason at the RX8 Store and he will handle the transaction.

I posted pictures of the center housing rotating assemblies (18G vs. 60-1) in RX8 Store section. Here they are again.

Hey Jason, how much would it cost for the fully upgraded turbo with the best compressor etc, water cooled and fully ported without having the original TD06 to upgrade? Just an "out the door" turbo that will work with the GReddy manifold.

I have a full GReddy kit, and a 3071R arriving by the second week of April, but if things fall through this would be my next choice. I don't have a TD06 though.

There isn't an option if you don't have the greddy turbine housing. Sure you can find another turbine housing that will bolt up to the exhaust manifold, but all your pipes will not work. Also the clearancing will change if the turbine housing is taller. They will have to be custom made which isn't worth the hastle. Just try and find someone selling a Greddy turbo. It doesn't matter if it is trashed.

I meant more does Jason sell the TD06 turbo without the rest of the kit, and it would be possible for people needing just the turbo to get the TD06 + modifications. I guess it would be cheaper to just buy a crappy used TD06 off eBay or something and get it modified by you.

Greddy does not sell parts of the kit separately, not unless it is to replace something that has failed. I spoke to a Greddy rep and he would not sell just the manifold for example.
