Needed 3.5" and 4" aluminum pipe bent

i have a length of each pipe i need bent into 90s and 45s for my turbo set up. I got the piping for free but have called around with no luck at getting above 3" pipe bent. So if you can bend them or know of a place that can let me know. the 3.5" i will need 1 45 and 1 90 and the 4" i will just just need 1 90. If this cant be done ill have to break down and get pre bent pipe or miter my own.
Thanks
Josh

The problem with "getting pipe bent" is that no one around you is going to have the equipment to mandrel bend it. Mandrel bend machines are rediculously expensive and not something any car or smaller machine shop will have.

The kinds of benders that muffler shops use will leave crimp marks in the bends. Even with that i had trouble finding someone that could do 3" stuff for my exhaust. I have four of the crimp style bends in my exhaust, but its where my exhaust is DUAL 3" pipes..so its hardly a restriction.
here are some pics of what those bends look like:

^+1 what he said.

also your pipe may or may-not be in an annealed state. most shops just buy it pre-annealed and don't like working with the structural grades.

also for mandrel bends they need straight lengths either side of the bend and your pipe may be to short.

so it is easier to buy pre-bent bends. try and find a shop that has a good range.
here is my fav supplier's list for an idea.

if you need tighter radius bends you need to move to "donuts" and cut the desired angle out.

4" intercooler piping? Are you nuts? You better be packing a GT45 under that hood to justify such expensive and bulky piping. Huge intercooler piping does no favors for response either. There's really no reason to go bigger than 3", and even less than that is fine most of the time.

and if you say it's aluminum exhaust pipe then you are also nuts

There's an outfit in San Francisco selling OBX intake tubing components on eBay at a good value. I just bought a 3.5" OD x 0.06" wall 90 deg elbow from them. It's huge, not just a short elbow with barely any straight length on it. The length along the centerline is about 32" total, easy 12" straight length on each end of the mandrel bend. I think it was $15 + $10 ground shipping

I had no luck on the flanges. I ended up just making an entire new exhaust system using V-band clamps. My turbo setup wont match up to stock exhaust.

Would probably have to take the exhaust into a machine shop and say "I need this!"

You got a synchronic 50mm Wastegate for $100 ?!?!?! omg..I paid nearly $400 for mine..

yeah i ran across one. a speed shop in flordia had a used one and they got tired of it laying around. so i jumped on it (i just couldn't resist). From what i can see there is very little that can go wrong or bad with the synapse. I have 3/8" stainless plate laying around Ill pry just get one cnc cut.
