need tuning after turbo rebuilt?

so something is wrong with my turbo and i've sent it out to rebuild, so my question is, do i need to get my car retune again after the rebuild or i can leave it?
some of my friends say yes, and some of them say no. so i really dont know who to trust!
any answers would be helpful.
thanks!

did you have your car originally tuned when the turbo was broken, or when it was functional? That should answer the question.

You shouldn't need to tune the car after rebuilding a turbo, unless the rebuild will be affecting the flow characteristics of your compressor/turbine
