Like you said, one of us is going to eat the Crow and after some hasty thought. I think I'm going to be the one. Duh. It's conservation of mass not conservation of volume. Way to stick to your guns.

richard, i appreciate your sarcasm but i have access to about any tool imaginable. besides that, im not interested in building it, only designing it. ill leave it up to you experts to actually make it a reality.

If I knew you were going to be so humble... I would have made you squirm some more. :p . So, since the engine decides how much airflow it's going to swallow, It's really up to the designer to decide the proper gear/pulley ratio to meet the airflow requirements of the engine. So with a capable designer, like yourself, you would choose that ratio so that you didn't run out of poop at whatever boost level you were looking for. :D
