Thats great to know. Are you talking about the APV or the SSV?
That probably explains the common wandering idle problem seen with the Int-X. If the SSV is changed to say, 1200, idle at 800rpm should be ideal and nobody has noticeable boost before 1200 so it will not affect tunning. This great news for me . The APV remains under control of the PCM right or is it controlled by this same output? How come Dannobre says his APV stays open all the time? Thanks for the input.

No offense intended here, just curious, you are packaging and shipping turbo kits with an INT-X without knowing this stuff before hand? Maybe I am reading into this wrong, but thought you might want to clarify in case I am not the only one reading it this way.
Thanks,
Slave

Since this is Scott's thread I decided to move the reply/clarification over to the Esmeril Thread.
Thanks
Chris

This Car for is now for Sale!
Happy Holidays guys!
We took a customers car to the dyno this week with our Type 3 turbo kit and wanted to share our results.
04 RX-8 with ~ 25,000 miles
Mazsport Type 3 turbo kit
Interceptor-X E.M.S.
Mazsport ignition solution
We were using 93 octane pump gas and I tuned the car at 13 psi with a conservative ~11.1 afr's. Had we pulled the afr's up to 11.7 range there is no doubt it would have netted 370-375rwhp but without the customer there I took the Captain Conservative approach.
As you can see the spark issue's that have plagued the RX-8 are a thing of the past.

To anyone interested in making an offer, my 8 (the one this dyno belongs too) is officially for sale. Its a 2004 5 speed, silver with black leather interior and all the options including nav. It was fully loaded when I bought it. It has low miles, under 30K.
This 8 is fast and fun to drive, I'm just ready for something different - Looking at Harley's!
Not sure what to ask for the car, but I know I have at least $30K in customizations:
MAZSPORT Stage 3 Turbo
MAZSPORT Upgraded Fuel Pump
MAZSPORT Plugs and Coils
20" RIMS - Offset 10" in the Rear
Electronic Adjustable Coilovers
Racing Beat Exhaust
ROTORA Big Break Kit
the list goes on and on...
Accepting Offers Now... email me at jtp@austinash.com

Jim,
While I kind of understand why you posted in this thread. The last post was in fact in 2007. You might have better luick elsewhere if you haven't done so.
FYI...............you should fully disclose that nobody is going to support any MAZSPORT installed equipment.

Jim, that sounds like a heck of a car you've got there but as Mazurfer pointed out, you might have more luck with a separate thread as this one is quite old and seldom visited.
Also, if you do start a thread please remember to post an asking price as it is a requirement of this site on all sales.
I realize you have $30k in customizations but unfortunately that money is hardly EVER recovered when you sell it and if you get half of that, consider yourself fortunately.
Good luck on the sale, good luck on the Harley purchase as well!
