arent you supposed to be in the v3_x files? I thought the vXb_X was only for the greddy MAF housing not the CAI (MM told me to go back to the v3_X because the other files arent for a CAI)

Jeff sent me two sets of maps.

"MM 2005 MT TURBO v1_0" and "MM 2005 MT TURBO v1b_0"

Any idea what the "b" stands for?

I have no idea.

If I need to wait for Jeff to send me a new set of maps I am screwed. lol

I sent him a few emails like 3weeks ago with no reply.

I think the vxb_x is for the greddy maf housing! you should give the vX_x a try!

well thats what MM told me to do and my car drives fine so far

Ok but it still makes me nervous that I am running v1 and not v3.

Maybe It has something to do with the fact that you are in canada!

Jeff has done a pretty decent job with the map files! I am sure he has a reason why.. however I dont know why...

nice pics!! looks like a giant version of the SFR one! I was thinking of doing something similar to this with the DIY but they didn't stock that K&N size. please let us know if that recirc messes with MAF readings. I want to recirc also eventually but was scared to put it so close to the maf sensor

I will for sure.

Scott angled it away from the MAF sensor for a reason so technically it should work.

The numbers don't mean anything in terms of power or AFR lean/richness. I'm using v5 for two weeks now. They're just different configurations for maf housing size, injector sizing, etc.

Ok good to know. The best I got so far was mid 12's at WOT.

I am getting 6degrees above ambient while cruising.

ok. I was just looking for confirmation that the intake flows smoothly enough for the AP. Let us know when you find out.

I am highly confident that it flows smoothly for the AP. I no longer get pig rich and I don't get any more surging at WOT.

It's just a matter of getting the proper maps for Jeff. I am starting to feel like he is no longer supporting it.

Yeah.

I guess he bit off more than he could chew. Totally understandable under the circumstances.

does this have a new name or model number, or does it replace the previous design?

Since the MAF sensor is further away I had to cut the wires and extend them.
