I spent about 30 min today with a saw and the intake box... and got it back on. I only installed the bottom portion, as thats all i really needed.

The radiator fan is finally NOT blowing hot air directly into my intake. I took it for a spin and butt dynoed 245 more whp. FABULOUS!!!

Seriously tho, thanks for the idea Adrian... i appreciate the help.
