Hey, I wish I had $1100 right now... I just found this while browsing and thought i would let others know about it so maybe someone on the club could get a good deal...sorry if this is in the wrong section, it just seems like this is the most likelyarea for this to be seen as i is only for sale for a very short time left.

is there anyway to buy just the greddy manifold and downpipe?
you can do your own intercooler stuff, the greddy intake sucks, the greddy turbo sucks, the greddy emanage sucks, people basically use the "infrastructure" of that kit and upgrade everything on it for a lot of extra money.

just remember the big cost of the greddy kit are the turbo, the manifold, and the fuel management.
so if you can buy these from elsewhere, you cut down on your costs, but if those parts are what is expensive from the greddy kit, then they aren't going to be cheap buying them yourself either. You're going to spend roughly the same getting the parts elsewhere, but you don't have to buy 2 fuel managements and 2 turbos.

I'm going to guess $500-$750 for the CRH manifold, you can get GT3071Rs for $1,200, $700 Cobb AP, $470 Mazsport Intercooler, $100 turbo oiling stuff/hardware, $150 Intercooler Piping, $300 Turbo CAI
$3400-$3700 instead of $3000 for the greddy mish-mosh...
To complete the kit (this would be the same for the greddy kit):
$200 Synchronic BOV, $100 Greddy Turbo Timer, $300 Greddy B-Spec II, AEM UEGO Wideband $200 Boost Gauge $200, $60 MM big injector swap, $400 MSD LS2 Coil Upgrade, $100 Sohn Adapter
another ~$1600
so figure $5500 for pretty much any engine related external part you could ever need on an RX-8 + clutch and exhaust stuff... and radiator and wtf i almost forgot the most important part that should already be on your car anyhow though ~$250 Mazmart water pump!

oh, didn't know about the custom trims, i figured since the crh manifold was going to be made for the 3071R it would be direct bolt on. i guess just tack on another $600 to the price

oh yeah and a Greddy SP2 catback exhaust!!!
This guy just lost a good $2,500 for no reason. that sucks for the seller. if i were him i would set a reserve first of all, but $1,900 for ~$4,500 worth of stuff! "sorry, the parts were stolen out of my garage last night."

Finally Boosted!!!!!!!
IMHO, the smartest thing for CRH to do is to make his manifold with a common flange. Say a t3 or t4. That would allow him to sell his manifold as a stand alone item or with a kit designed for a specific turbo. Say the Garrett GT3071. This would make it easier to source the turbo also because I hear the turbo MM is using is kind of hard to get.

are you kidding?! It sold for $1,862!! It was entirely new and came with a BOV, turbo timer, greddy oil pan, and a boost gauge in addition to the standard greddy kit. that's a steal.
