Yeah I feel you - but even doing every 500 RPM / HP it would give you a good idea of the curve.

We will get to see how those new ports work then! I just thought that it was ok to point that issue out before falling again in the "but you" spiral that killed the other thread.
I broke 500whp last fall with no bridge, the stock intake manifold and the front mount intercooler that I had in all my other runs...I just don't have a dyno sheet to post...I will see if I can find it...it wasn't the pretiest dyno, there were issues picking up the rpm...I was having a little spark blowout which was killing the top end and the stock intake many was chocking the engine so I didn't want to open a can of worms by posting dyno charts of that, I thought I would go again after that but one thing led to another and winter came and I made my new setup.

Eitherway, My engine is a renesis...ported or not...however, I will make sure and specify the extent of the modifications it has undergone to reach whatever level I reach in the next couple of weeks .

I have to get the car back on the dyno. It's a lot more powerful now.

Yeah, me too. I have not had much time lately to play with the nitrous stuff and I really should get back to it.

Hey Brettus,

I would almost rather you plot the 366whp run on your comparison chart. In the 414 the E-boost2 controller was dropping the boost to wastegate spring pressure(10-11psi) on the top end because of a parameter that was set up incorrectly. In the 366whp dyno the car held the boost fine(there was no boost controller ) so it is more indicative of the power band with our kit.

Its just a suggestion...as much as its nice to have a 400whp chart up there when no one else has it, I would like people to see what the powerband should actually look like...not to mention that pretty soon I will have a dyno of the entire power band at higher numbers anyways and I will forward that to you asap.

Thanks.

Chris

I tend to think that looking at and discussing the torque curves would be more educatuonal than the horsepower curves, but maybe that is just me.

Good point but I really wanted the thread to be a ***** out -what can we do type of thing - not who has the nicest curves .

I agree but most people wont want to know or understand that because they were educated by 'fast and furious' to look only at hp .

I guess adding price to the mix makes sence.... kind of unfair to rate a $3500 kit vs one that is double the price. Or even a HP or TQ per $ comparo.

I REALLY need to finish tuning mine and get it on the dyno. I'd love to jump into the action on THAT chart

And because torque does no work.

Look at the graph any RPM where HP is higher than another kit - that car would be accelerating FASTER than the one with the lower HP.

Compare the 3071 to the Esmeril and it can be clearly seen that the 3071 would pull down low and then the Esmeril would walk the 3071 past 5500 RPM's - no torque required.

Exactly , and for that reason I don't think a torque chart is necessary . Aside from the fact that it is a whole lot more work to do and keep updated ....

Also : compare the SC dyno to either of the UG greddy or 3071 and you can see the 310ish whp turbos will out accelerate the 330whp SC

Well, until the chinese turbo gives up and throws shrapnel through your car, but yeah...

I should have a dyno in a few weeks, hopefully one at 14 and 16psi.

+1 on that. Thank you very much. Luckily mine was caught before it went BOOM completely. As it stands when I am done I will look at posting my charts here. I will have a Esmeril kit running a TO4e 60 trim garrett instead of the chinese Snail Bomb that it had.

Yeah.

I'm excited, too! I found a dyno in town that will cut me a good rate for self tuning.

I'll have my water/meth spraying at full tilt with Snow Boost juice (half water/half meth) and a splash or so of CP116 in the tank for protection. Since this is "All out" ya know, haha!
