that's good news man. How do you like the sound of the HKS compared to the GReddy BOV?

the hks is way louder than the greddy rs when it blows off, i like the sound of the greddy rs being to me it sounds more natural but still no complaints with the hks being it works!

HKS is louder?
Wow. That's the first time I've ever heard that.
The GReddy BOVs are notoriously loud. Not as bad as TurboXS, but close.
The HKS is barely audible on my car most of the time.

A friend of mine says it sounds like the car is screaming "STEEEEEeeee" when it opens.

Like its calling a Subaru out: "Come here, STEE!"

Thread resurrection!!!
Was going to start my own ... but this one seems bang on ... with my problem.

I'm having the same problems ..... coming off the throttle over 3k rpm the car just stalls.
This isn't new behavour it's done this since I got it together.
I've not gone in to positive manifold pressure.

I've got an HKS-SSQV with the recirc setup.

I'm going out today to do a vacuum hunt.
I'll try and isolate the BOV to do this test.

RX8 2005 MT
New BHR Coils, plugs, wires
Vacuum at idle fully warmed up 18inHg (sometimes will dip quickly to 16inHg)
Draw thru maf setup, top mount T04e
