Sealant is included in the Snow kits and I am sure others, as well.

it sounds like hes talking about the 90 degree elbow that holds the injector and attaches to the hose. but i cant believe that snow would make such a shitty part. possibly its the little plastic piece or "quick release" clip on the elbow. but i cant see how that could blow out..

Yes, exactly.
The guts of the 90 degree elbow ejected completely.

dude....wtf? whys the outside plastic look so corroded and chewed up? that thing looks like it went through a garbage disposal...lol

chickenwafer 11-22-2008 08:26 PM

I still say you have a poorly manufactured bad apple. There is no way boost pressure did that, it was pump pressure if anything.

dannobre 11-22-2008 09:28 PM

I wouldn't put up to 250 PSI into a push-loc connector...or use plastic line either...

What ever happened to braided steel line and proper brass connectors??

chickenwafer 11-22-2008 10:19 PM

Well the pump ships at 175psi and is adjustable up to 220psi if I remember correctly. I just left mine at 175. The hose is hard (you need to cut it with hedge trimmers practically) and is rated up to 300psi.

Uh, I was not real happy with it when it broke.
It looks worse now.
I had to dig it out of the bottom of the tool box for the picture.

And, assuming you are correct, that is better because?
:uhh:

Well as stated before and if you look at the pic I posted on the 1st pg they have since upgraded the nozzle and it is of quality build

WoodsOfGreenRx8 11-23-2008 10:39 AM

Like mentioned before, Snow re-designed the nozzle. Call them & tell them whats up & they will send you their new design. When I last talked to Snow, they contacted their nozzle supplier & asked if they changed anything, when they said No, Snow dropped them & went a new route. Haven't had any problemds with their new nozzles.
