Ordered the Greddy Turbo kit today, along with a profec b boost controller, greddy type rs bov, greddy electrical gauge, and oil pan. I'm really looking forward to it and can't wait till it gets here!

I am not sure, its just a el cheapo one from ebay, i spent so much money on the turbo, gauges, pods, profec e -01 that i decided to not get the nicer greddy one until later.

I have a question though about oil catch cans if anybody wants to answer . . How often or do you ever empty it? The hose on the side (which i thought was to show the level of the sludge inside) shows nothing at all in mine after roughly two months or so of driving before my turbo went out. That normal?

yea...it's only fine oil mist cause by blow by gases. you probably won't have to empty for about a year.

greddy reccomends it (but why wouldn't they?)...but most owners will say not to worry about it.

Yea it should be really fun. I wish i could send it to mazsport, but theres a little thing called money which gets in my way . Anyhow, i have a very good friend I'm installing it with, and one of his friends owns a shop and has tuned and installed many turbos on tons of different applications. Im gonna trust him for now to tune using the emanage, and hopefully i wont run into many of the setbacks that i hear about the system. I bought the kit from rx7store, and im hoping to get it anytime next week. It's comming from Ohio, and I'm in NC so it shouldn't take to long to get here.

LMAO...sorry for the confusion.

Formerly known as "SDRacer87"...but that sounded really dumb, so I changed it.

Also, have to get Greddy Support Tool software before you can tune the EManage unit.

ok, thanks. I think I'm gonna run the pre programmed map for the first thousand miles at least to break it in.

Pre-programmed map is garbage. Swap as early as possible. Most stuff from the factory (or in this case Greddy) is pretty good, but because there is so much variability in our cars the map hardly works well. Tune, tune & more tune. That is the key.
