Greddy turbo kit CAI

Is modifying an NA CAI like the AEM the only option in getting a CAI for the Greddy kit? I've seen talk of a Mazsport CAI for the kit, but haven't been able to locate one for sale, maybe due to the bad incident. Is there a thread dedicated to the modification of the AEM intake? I've only seen the DIY from scratch that involved quite of handiwork (for someone like me who is lacking tools at the moment).

The only hard bit is the MAF tube . A lot of CAI kits would have a tube suitable . Once you have that it's just a matter of finding a suitable filter and a the right couplings .

That's how i did mine and it cost me peanuts . I was fortunate that a freind had a maf tube off some unknown intake that did the job perfectly ....

the AEM intake works perfectly with the greddy kit, just requires a little cutting and minor modifications.

The AEM is just the most readily-available option. Another is the K&N Gen 1 MAF tube (I have). You will need another 3.5" aluminum 90-degree elbow (I go a Vibrant pipe) and then a filter to put the filter behind the bumper.

yeah biggest part is to make sure the MAF is getting a good reading (not around bends in the tubing)....somehow incorporating screens(if going custom) is also a good idea
