A quick search reveals Greddy has received 9 exemptions for their products, the last in 2001. By comparison HKS has received 27 exemptions, the last in 2002. It makes me sanguine about Greddy applying for an exemption on the RX-8 turbo kit.

Racing Beat has 5 exemptions, the last in 2004.

AS much as I want to see them get the CARB exemption for us, it doesn't really seem to be stopping most people. So from a business stand point, I can't see that they'll be in a hurry to apply for one.

Chances are if they decide to get CARB exemption, they'll do it in one or two years like Racing Beat plans simply to maximize their applicable models. Unlike the stock market I was using past performance as a predictor for future plans. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
