The OP hasn't posted anything on this board in 2 months.

 

i was out of country, the project looks great, engine is sitting in and should be started by saturday, hopefully the car will be out by the end of the month, i didn't update pics because of copyright issues, couple of magazines will be coming out with a special issue so they didnt want anyone to have pic of the projects, i just came today from a family trip, just be patient, its very close to being finished, meanwhile i purchased an evo 9 before leaving to drive as a regular car.

come on Sickest, dont let me down (more). you want to impress these guys you are gona have to sneak in a NEW shot. It's your car, they cant stop you. regaurdeless of a magazine there is nothing stopping you from taking pictures of our OWN car, and posting a pic or two of the build. it's not like your gona steal some magazines thunder. it's not like your "leaking" some SEMA show car pics or anything.

Sickest, look at it from our side.... It does seem very flakey.

This guy cracks me up...

 

3 months from the day (4-16-06) of the first post on this threads and only a few pictures of the swap,when we maked the 3 rotor swap we taked pictures of all the convertion. We maked it on less than two months only working after work and in the weekends.

This guy has 21 years is a student and have money to swap a supra engine plus buy a EVO 9. when I was 21 I was at the university with not to much money!
This not make to much sense unless his parents give him $$$$ support.

What happened this time?

 

We don't know yet. It was reading low compression but Rotor Sports took apart the motor and no seal is damaged, the housing is fine and so are the springs. So, I'm afraid it is a freakish electrical problem.

 

Geez man, sorry to hear that. I know you just got your engine replaced a few months back too.

 

Ths project is also on the 7 forum in which it has been revealed that he has now given up on it and is selling it.

 

i thought on 7club it said he had given up and sold the car?

 

The best thing to do is too just put a jet motor in your car and smile when you hit 300mph and go air bound ; )

What happened to a well balanced car with this generation..

I've been following this thread for quite some time now and, actually, I feel quite disappointed. An old saying in Spain and probably in Puerto Rico describes the situation pretty well: Mucho ruido y pocas nueces.

As Manuel said, he gave info about his masterpiece all along, so much for this guy.

BTW: Manuel and Robert are pretty much the rotary gods for us spaniards. Such amazing work...
